Detailed description of Bear Mountain Ranch Golf Course
Bear Mountain Ranch Golf Course is a public 18-hole golf course located in Chlan, Washington. The course was created as centerpiece attraction for the Bear Mountain Ranch residential community. The course is a championship level 18-hole public play course providing residents and visiting golfers with upscale services and amenities.
Bear Mountain Ranch Golf Course opened for play in 2005. The course was designed by Robert Yount and Don Barth.
Bear Mountain Ranch Golf Course drapes acreoss the hillsides overlooking Lake Chelan. The layout, challenge and views make this a great course.
Black tees: par-72, 7,231 yards, 75.0 / 135
Blue tees: par-72, 6,761 yards, 72.5 / 135
White tees: par-72, 6,249 yards, 69.6 / 128 (M), 75.5 / 136 (W)
Bronze tees: par-72, 5,528 yards, 66.8 / 117 (M), 71.4 / 128 (W)
Red tees: par-72, 5,063 yards, 68.6 / 117

Great golf holes once you have seen the layout. Hole number one is a short but blind shot so some advice from a starter would be helpful if you are not with someone who has played the course. The layout and views are very good. Some of the greens (in my opinion) need to be flattened to eliminate the false fronts and backs on some. The target area is already small coming into a few of the wholes and they have tricked out the greens a tad to much. Other than that, i love the holes and layout and want to play it again.

Played the course on a cold spring day.Great course for hi handicap players as all shot favour slicers,right handers.Good fun layout only real hard hole is no 16.

Played in Pro-Am. Course is amazing from all aspects. Challenging from the perspective uneven lies in the fairways. Sand is great. Greens are fast and run true. Several blind shots but this did not bother me.
